  1. according to the national institute of Healthcare management,between 1989 and 2000 the U.S. food and drug approved 1035 new drug applications-of these ,65 percent contained active ingredients that were already on the market(incrementally modified drugs),11 percent were identical and only 15 percent were considered a "highly innovative drug."
    mischief like this is more evident in genetic engineering of SEEDS.the MNCs modify or introduce a gene and patent the whole seed,which contain thousands of genes.who is the owner of other genes in the seed?
